The literature of the past workers on the subject of Cancer was scattered all over which has been compiled to preserve the original work with all authenticity. To know the history Therapeutics of Cancer by J. H. Clarke was the only easily available work on the subject, but the biggest irony was that though it was printed in the name of Clarke, it hardly contained any information or paper from him. Similarly, there was another work named as Homoeopathic Treatment of Cancer by Fortier-Bernoville and A.H. Grimmer. It had valuable indications penned by Grimmer with a compilation of all possible avenues of prescribing in cases of cancer by Bernoville. Another work by R.T. Cooper’s Cancer and Cancer Symptoms deserves a mention here which includes the cases of one of the most zealous homoeopathic workers on the treatment of cancer, yet it is hardly read today along with description of many new drugs that had been found to be successful in the treatment of various conditions. So these scattered works on the subject of Cancer have been compiled to preserve the original work with all authenticity and to make them available to readers at one go.· The books included in the compilation are:-Therapeutics of Cancer by J. H. Clarke- Homoeopathic Treatment of Cancer by Fortier-Bernoville- Cancer articles by A.H. Grimmer-R.T. Cooper’s Cancer and Cancer Symptoms• The content in each introduction has been deliberately kept concise to facilitate the student in reading the section with interest.• Each section begins with an introduction by the editor which is an effort to introduce the authors and their nature of work, to the reader in the simplest way possible.• The concept of Arborivital doses introduced by Dr Cooper has also been given for studyIt is an appeal to all the students to read the original literature as much as they can and learn the wisdom of this beautiful science from the most reliable and time tested source books.
